Dematrix the Ruler

Dematrix was the first ever Dragon to be Exiled from the Valley. The Exiled have been banned because they left. They are un-adoptable and treated like lepers in the Valley. Their Companions abandon them, and their friends and family disown them.

Dema was never liked as a young Dragon. His strange dark red coloring and the creepy markings he possessed frightened the other young Dragons. Dema was picked on from the start. His parents were no help. They had been adopted and once a Dragon is adopted, it usually stays forever in it's owners cave. Adopted Dragons sometimes even disregard their children, and Dema's parents were all too eagar to leave him behind.

Parentless and constantly taunted and teased, Dema grew bitter. One day, the other Dragons decided to play a practical joke on Dema. They decided to push him out of the Valley by force. They waited until the Ancients had disapperead into the sky to conference with the Ethereals. The cruel young Dragons lured Dema into the wood at the edge of the valley. The Dragons Companions were lurking in the bushing. Pouncing on the unsuspecting Dema, the Companions tied his legs together and his mouth shut. The Frony Companions donned little harnesses that were attached to Dema and dragged him to the very edge of the Valley.

Kicking and screaming, tears streamed down Dema's face. He had been treated cruelly before, but that was a personal hell for any Dragon. The Valley was the one safe place where no Dragon could ever be harmed by their predators. But the young Dragons didn't care. They wanted this evil looking monster away from them forever. With one last kick, the Companions and Dragons kicked Dema over the Valley line and out of the Valley. Quickly, the Lyca Companions used their strong tails to untie Dema. Almost immediately, the white spots covering his back disappeared and fury engulfed his eyes. Roaring in anger at the Dragons that ruined his life, Dema grabbed the tail of one unsuspecting Lyca and yanked it over the boundary. He tore the creature limb from limb while the other Companions and Dragons watched in fear.

The Dragons and Companions ran away from the monstrous creature they had created. Roaring in anger again, Dematrix turned and ran into the thick forst that surrounded the outside of the Valley. Swearing to one day get revenge on the Dragons that ruined his life, he started planning. Now, Dematrix takes in The Exiled and teaches them hate, anger, and revenge.
